The MacBook Pro’s MiniLED display is incredible
For years I’m an “OLED or GTFO” kind of guy, as I put a premium on infinite contrast and true black and every display I’ve got at home is an OLED (TV, monitors, tablet, phone, watch), except my MacBook Air.
Just got a new MBP to replace my MBA for work, and I brought it with my gaming laptop (Asus G14), which has an OLED display, to my trip to visit family.
Here are them side by side, with a crappy LCD display in the background for comparison.
The MiniLED on the MacBook has the same contrast and indistinguishably dark black level, and better colors.
I’m blown away.
