Apple Remote Desktop alternatives?

I've been using ARD since 2008. It's mostly worked for us so far in that we are a small business (about 35 employees) with one physical office. Its bugginess is starting to get to me - I'm wondering if there's an alternative out there I've missed. I could replicate most of its features using screen sharing/terminal/running scripts via my MDM, but would prefer something closer to what I have/had w. ARD.
