If Vikings win the superbowl

If the vikings ever win a superbowl, i plan on going to the cemetary where my uncle was buried last december. Maybe leave a vikings hat or football there for him. He was a lifelong fan and taught me the rules of the game when i was a kid.

He bought me tickets to my first vikings game. When i got my first big boy job, i took him to a vikings home opener. That year was 1998. Tampa Bay. Randy moss. We had so much fun man. He was one of those few fans who felt the pain of 1977, 1987, 1998, 1999, 2009, the herschel walker trade, les steckel, trash-talking wisconsin migrants at the workplace, bountygate, 4 picks for cordarelle patterson, loveboat scandal AND still continued to be an undeterred optimist.

This year Sam Darnold was gonna take us all the way he would say as our dallas relatives would mock him. My uncle hated the cowboys and he didnt hate anyone.

Every fall was going to be THE year no matter how shitty the roster was. It never happened.

I hope it happens in my lifetime.
