The Prince of Egypt has one of the greatest soundtracks in an animated film.
The soundtrack is grand, beautiful, and actually moves the story along.
-"Deliver Us" is a great prelude that really sets the tone for the movie.
-"Through Heavens Eyes" is a perfect montage/time lapse song. It shows his physical growth, but sings about what he's learning, which can't be shown on screen. That's a mark of a good song. (Plus it's a great message about understanding our worth.)
-"The Burning Bush" is just a beautiful score. It's dramatic and fits the feel of how they're portraying God.
-"The Plagues" is once again, used well. You see what's happening, and the music tells us what we can't see; namely, the way Moses and Ramses are both feeling about what's happening. Not to mention the badass choir in the background.
-"When you Believe" is just a beautifully triumphant close to the Hebrew's journey. The bridge, sung in the Hebrew language, is actually word for word from a couple lines of "Miriam's song" found in Exodus 15. I think that's a really neat touch.
