Stop Texting/YouTubing/Facetiming and driving

I was on the bus in the Lincoln tunnel this morning and in a matter of 2 minutes I saw 2 drivers texting, 1 face timing, and 1 watching YouTube while driving. What is so important that you need to be watching a video or texting someone while moving at 30 MPH?
