Sanded the pickguard and removed the pickup covers from my Squier Mustang. Awwwyeah

After getting my Mustang I slowly came to realize that the shiny white plastic pickguard and the no-holes black plastic pickup covers were bothering me more that they should.

To the point that I found myself playing more my other guitar just because of that silly aesthetic annoyance.

Yesterday I had some idle time and decided to try something quick on the Mustang: sand the pickguard, remove the no-hole covers. And dudes… I personally love how this small mod has changed so much the looks of the guitar while keeping it as it is.

My only regret is not having done it before and have the Mustang sitting on the bench for so long.
