Question about Gaming Laptop

I have a 3060 mobile Laptop I bought in 2022 and it struggles to reach consistent 60 in most modern games. I am new to Laptop gaming having spend most of my time on desktop but staying in a foreign country, building a rig is not an option.

Is buying a 4080 laptop enough for my needs?
