Backing up my Iphone Photos and Videos

Hey guys,

i'm a litte bit overwhelmed with all the information on reddit - so i decided to ask.

I have a TS-233 and an iPhone - and i would love to sync all my old media (let's say everything but this year should be uploaded) automatically to my NAS.
How can i do that?
Do i need an app on my NAS or on my Phone - or on both devices?
