THEY TOLD ME THEY’D WANT ME TO DO IT OVER TEXT !!Is this a good breakup text ? I’ve been dating this person almost a year , I’m going to break up cause I realised they’re not meeting my needs for a relationship and don’t seem to prioritise meeting them after many talks , the needs aren’t wild or crazy ,and there’s a few other issues too . They told me if I were ever to break up with them they’d prefer I do it over text , we are both 18, (I’m giving it another week or so before I make up my mind , I’m waiting till after our exams are over and seeing if they’ll care about my needs with that out of the way, but I just feel an urge to share this while I’m thinking about it so I can let go for now and focus on study ) Hey —name I’m breaking up with you. If I am to be with someone I need to be with someone who’s more compatible with my needs. I am too hurt and sensitive about things that you say or do or don’t do, wether you mean it or not . For me at the moment this relationship or probably any serious relationship isn’t worth the hurt. The relationship we have now is not the one I want forever and the longer I stay with you the longer it’ll take you to find your future babymama wifey. I know I haven’t been the perfect partner , you deserve someone who’s mentally ready for a serious relationship and matches your needs and goals .I’ve learned and enjoyed a lot with you and I hope you have too . I don’t regret any time I spent with you . I’ll always care about you , you’re a loveable , beautiful,charming, sweet and fun person .I wish you all the best going forward, following your dreams and finding love in all areas of your life.
