can i add irrelevant experience to my resume??

I’m sure that sounds like a dumb question, but Injust graduated with my BA and i’m trying to get my first entry level job. But I don’t have any experience related to my degree. I didn’t do an internship or anything. This is an example of the need experience but how am I supposed to get it when I need it thing. To be more specific, all of my experience is in the service industry, and the jobs I want to apply for are human services related.
