Lip case feels loose on phone

I have an iPhone 16 pro and just got a lip case for it. Is it supposed to feel this loose around the edges? Idk my phone really doesn’t feel too secure in it. Like the edges will pop off with the slightest amount of pressure. That’s disappointing, I was so excited.
