Karls camera gift

I honestly believe Karl giving Suzanne the camera he got from work was not only perfectly fine but quite thoughtful. It wasn't just given too him, he asked for it so it wasn't like a "oh thats good enough" attitude. Plus he's right he could have asked for something for himself and working at a place for however many years and being gifted one to give to Suzanne is way more meaningful than just going and buying a camera imo. Idk if it was an attitude of the time of actually needing to hand money over for something for it to be worth the thought but I think now a days hand made is more thoughtful. It's obviously not hand made but I remember Steve joking that the woolen mits karl got Suzanne might have been sewn from karl jacket or something. But again that is way more thoughtful than buying mits. Thats a different point but still.
