In the first movie, Rocky didn’t seem as happy as he should have been over this payday.

Even in 2025, $830K would be an awesome payday for a fighter, especially one who had no experience at the highest levels of the sport.

830,000 dollars can be easily squandered today, but it could also be life changing money. Balboa just didn’t seem too aware of this. I’d be jumping for joy over it. I wonder what do biggest pay day was prior to Creed? Maybe a few hundred?
