When to sell?

Bought my first Rolex (explorer 1 40mm) about 6 months ago and I do love the watch, but I’m debating selling.

The money would not make a massive impact on my life but I do not feel a connection to the watch as much as I thought I would.

Everyone says never sell your first watch and some people say if you ever think about selling (which I am) it’s time to sell.
