SA native Yolanda Saldívar, who murdered Selena, will have her first parole hearing at the end of this month.

It’s hard to believe it’s been thirty years. The 31st of this month will mark the thirtieth anniversary of Selena Quintanilla Perez’s senseless murder at the hands of Yolanda Saldívar.
Consequently, Saldívar will become eligible for parole on 3/30/25. She’s currently serving a life sentence in a Gatesville prison.
Saldívar IS exercising her right to request parole and is already in the midst of that process and the review is scheduled for the 30th. I think Saldívar’s chances at parole are as close to zero as possible, but it IS possible. Personally, I think she’s someone whose life term should mean LIFE. I think she’s dangerous, deceitful, and remorseless.

Everyone keep the Quintanillas and Chris Perez in your thoughts this month.
