Help modding: Unlimited map markers

The fact that you can only have 10 custom map pins feels arbitrary/dumb in a game world this large, i have seen tiny mods that change the value of weight in items. Personally i have no experience modding but is there any way we could modify the state of the map markers to 99 or even infinite? i haven't seen any mods on nexus do this yet
