Recent rise in robocalls

This is a strange one. It all started a week ago but every 2-3 days I get about 4 robocalls. All of them from, I'm guessing, spoofed Toronto numbers. They don't stay on the line long enough for you to actually answer it and the pattern seems to be the same.

You get one call then another, from another number, within an hour. The third is about 3-4 hours later and the fourth is 2-3 hours afterwards. This has literally happened to me four times although they normally start after 3pm, today I've just gotten my second one.

So I'm wondering if this is something new that other Redditors have received recently or is it just me and a massive co-incidence?

EDIT: Well finally answered to see what it was, and it's a West Jet scam. I just heard a recorded voice saying, "thank you for choosing West Jet" and then hung up. Googled it and seems like they're starting this up again. Fact is that spoofing the number each and every time and having a recognizable pattern just makes it so suspicious.
