Why do all finasteride and dutasteride studies only report “mean hair count” instead of hair count percentiles?

They'll always report that the "mean hair count" of the treatment group has shown large increases relative to placebo, but why do they never break down the distribution of hair counts? Or if the study is small enough, the individual patient measurements over time?

We know that hyper-responders exist based on anecdotes from this subreddit, what if they respond so well they are dragging the "mean hair count" up to such a degree that it distorts the actual efficacy of the drug? Is it possible that 50% of people still see their hair count go down on finasteride (like me), but the "mean hair count" of the entire group is still positive because of a few hyper-responders. I wish studies would show a distribution.
