I will try to save this guy.
The turtle that I’m talking about is not mine. I’m just trying to help it since the owner is really old and he doesn’t have the abilities to help the turtle. Also, the turtle is 50 years old and has a bit odd shall growth (which was probably caused by him not getting the UVB light when he was younger and then getting the UVB light after couple of years of his life )but overall he is pretty happy (turtle). I know he needs to have his beak, trimmed and I will do that, but I’m still wondering what else can I do to help this guy? For example his skin looks really dry and even though Greek turtles live in dry areas, can I somehow moisturize the skin, and will that help to peel the old skin off? Please tell me how can I safely wash off old paint of his shell. 😀
