No room in UberX because of driver’s stuff.

My colleague and I were both going from a meeting at a hotel to the airport. We ordered an UberX and got a VW Tiguan. Plenty of room we thought.

Yet when the Tiguan arrived, there was only room for one person. The hatch was full of the driver’s personal stuff and there was also a suitcase in the 2nd row. My friend had to put her baggage in the open seat in the 2nd row and sit in the front (the driver moved stuff into the back to make this room). We could have probably worked to fit one more person (me) but not me and my checked size suitcase.

I’ve never seen anything like this. Is this worth complaining over? Why even accept rides when your vehicle is full?
