I was robbed because of an uber driver

I was robbed because of an uber driver in Mexico City. He made me leave the car in tepito a bad neighborhood for no reason and I was grabbed seconds later by the police. They claimed I had drugs which I did not. Grabbed my bag and all the money out of it and made me leave. I feel that this was not random.
