The Season Begins

Weather is warm enough for me to start most of my crops. I live in an area with sandy soil and didn't have a lot of luck last year trying all of my crops in-ground. Even after adding compost, all of the nutrients were washing out. Also- my yard doesn't get as much sunlight as I would like. I'm hoping to put anything that will do well in pots on my balcony where they will get more sunlight, grow crops that prefer loose/sandy soil in the ground, and do the rest in raised beds down the middle where they will get the most sun.
