is this a scam? (no personal info)

hi everyone! so i bought some boots from vinted (these usually range from £100-£300) online and i saw they were being sold for £42, and i thought it was a complete steal so i bought them, but one minute after i paid for them the seller said that they had already been sent out, im genuinely really confused by this, i thought that their account was fairly new and had just been set up as their listings were new, it’s impossible they’ve already sent the boots within 1 minute of me buying them, is this a scam? :/
