Who else could play the wizard?

I know this comes up every now and then, but it’s something I have been thinking about. No disrespect to Jeff I like him as the Wizard. But hear me out - Nicolas Cage. I think he would be brought a different depth to the character. He could easily play the flighty bumbling wizard we first meet. He can sing (and sing well) and when it is revealed that he is the bad guy I think he we would transition very well to this.
