We bought a Lexus a few months ago and the new car smell is still so strong because of my health issue causing extreme sensitivities that I have to wear a double KN95 whenever we go anywhere. (And it's too hot to drive with the windows open.)

My mother died in September and for months I've been trying to get the check from a company that owed her one. I've had to jump through so many legal hoops and call them so many times to get it, and at this point in settling her estate it was the last of my inheritance. I'm grateful it came today!

My mother died in Sept and about two months ago I finally received all of my inheritance except for a $534 check, and I'm having trouble adjusting to how much disposable income I suddenly have.

So many posts here slam "men", without any qualifiers such as is "too many". For those of you who really do think all men are exactly the same, why? Clearly all women aren't, nor is any other group of people that happens to share one label, so why men?

A safe, respectful space to discuss the lives and stories of women of all backgrounds, and the current events which affect us. Trans people and especially trans feminine people are expressly welcome here. People of all genders are welcome; feminist cred appreciated. Shaming women's choices and invalidating the perspectives of other women is not allowed here. Respect other life choices. We are baby and childless friendly. Our new car has remote start, which would be great of we remembered to use it. We live in a place that has really hot summers and the interior of the car is black, but we keep forgetting to turn it on when we're still inside the grocery store, for example.

I'm grateful Costco always has flowers that lasts so long. My husband got me these 12 days ago for my birthday.

I recently turned 68, and I can't believe everything I've already experienced in my life. Other people literally don't believe it, which I think is kind of funny/weird.

I'm on a really restricted diet bc of an immune disease, and the frozen cherries are not only one of my safe foods, but were a delicious treat. The new cherries they're selling hardly have any flavor and *it's really disappointing.*

I'm grateful that my range of motion tests in PT today showed significant improvement in a variety of ways, despite not even having been able to do the PT for weeks, just icing the areas.

I'm grateful that even though the pollen is really bad here right now, I've only had very itchy eyes but no breathing problems like I've had in previous years. This means my chronic immune issue is getting better!

I recently found out I have another (!) rare health issue that needs to be handled, and I found out today that the procedure is going to be really minor. I'm really grateful, given that the symptoms of an immune disease I have could have been made much worse if the surgery were more invasive.

I've been on a MCAS journey since childhood but didn't know until I was diagnosed almost 3 years ago. I've recently found some very unexpected help that I want to share about.

Since we bought our new Lexus we can't keep our handicap placard in the same place we did in our old car, because now that's where the heads up display is projected from, and nowhere else is as convenient.

I originally really freaked out on Friday night after finding out an MRI showed I'm going to need surgery for a "deep" lipoma in an arm muscle (in my dominant arm 🄺), but I was able to calm myself down and stop scaring myself about the unknown.

Speaking as a longtime patient, I feel sad that so many people automatically assume that chiropractic care is BS and that all chiropractors are frauds. If it weren't for mine I'd at least had to have had some major spinal surgeries, or be crippled with pain in a wheelchair by now.

This subreddit is for sharing and discussing chiropractic news, the profession, and care.

This week I had an MRI on a big lump in my arm and it turns out it's a benign fatty tumor that began in my brachial muscle. All I want is to call my mom for support, but she died in September.

There's a Canadian minister who's a very close friend of our minister and is important to some members of our congregation (including me.) For years the two of them talked about her coming down to visit, but she didn't have all of the money necessary for a plane ticket...
