This may be a stupid question, but how similar is growing leeks to green onions? Is it basically the same?

How to go about boss fights? I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to breed a Rex army, but I've never actually gone about trying any bosses before. I think the Broodmother is first, right? Besides the rex army, and a good Yuty, how do I prepare?
