Discovered I may have a serious disability starting a new job, in crisis now

What triggered my trauma was completely unknown to me, the setting is incredibly specific to the type and character of environment which is incredibly rare where I live. Applicable to a handful of buildings within a few hundred miles, one of which I had my experience in. I had absolutely no way of knowing that similar settings are triggering for me until I was in one. I want to be clear, this is the FIRST time this has happened since then.

Don't listen to the people being critical. Can you ask for an accommodation while you seek treatment for the trauma? Like EMDR or RRT? Maybe see if you can find an employment lawyer who specializes in trauma?

Yeah Im actually kind of shocked by the negativity and how hard I was downvoted. I explained to my manager that mandatory onsite isnt going to work, Im valuable to our team so he's giving me the leeway that regardless of what happens with HR Im clear to work from home as needed and we will try and work my way into being in the office regularly, even if it takes months.
