I found this very heartwarming b4b review from yesterday. i'll always believe ppl were too harsh on the game, yes they made some very questionable decisions but I honestly can't deny turtle rock tried their hardest with this game especially with how small of a studio they really are.

it took me so long to notice....are these supposed to be where they were before they met up? zoey killed her dad in her house, francis was killing infected with his friends at a bar, louis killed one in the bathroom at his job, it looks like the locations match.

i've never cared for gta like that but this is one that definitely appealed in a way that other gta's didn't which is why I consider it perfect. the map isn't too big, it has the right amount of content and is not overflowed with it, the story is great, the DLC is fun, this was my type of game lol

so....call it cope but tbh I think most of B4B's shortcomings are cause of the team size. look at it, valve at the time of L4D's release was huge, meanwhile turtle rock themselves even admitted they were a small studio to be making AAA games. back 4 blood was simply too ambitious of a game for them.

love this game to death but it has to be said, should've been shorter. this game is like 27 hours long when really it should've been 20. I can think of a lot of filler moments where I was like "ight bro get to the point" then the mafia is introduced and its like what the fuck is even happening now.
