Had to resort to the good ol' tape trick for my copy of Half Life. My PS2 made grinding noises while loading Half Life, and ONLY while loading that game. All my other Blue backed discs read smoothly like they should. Pretty wack but it works lol😂

My SCPH 70K Slim started having issues with the disc drive lid sensors, so I replaced it with this really nice SCPH 39K Fat boy. Easy fix, but I've always preferred these Fat boy PS2s anyway, so it's a nice little upgrade 👌

Copped a copy of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions today. Bought a copy of this game last week from the CeX website for delivery and when it arrived there was no manual and the disc was scratched. So I returned it and bought a copy from eBay instead.

It's my birthday today, so I went to the theater to see Sonic 3 for a second time, then I hoped into CeX and fulfilled one of my lifelong ambitions of owning a PS2. I got a PS2 Slim, 5 games, an HDMI converter and a Memory Card.
